Testing Labs for Lithium Batteries

The PRBA members listed below provide services for testing lithium (metal) primary batteries and lithium ion batteries pursuant to the requirements of the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria.  The U.S. Department of Transportation's hazardous materials regulations (49 CFR) and international dangerous goods regulations (IATA/ICAO Dangerous Goods Regulations and IMDG Code) require lithium cells and batteries be UN tested prior to being offered for transportation.
